RSV

This is my first time posting but I wanted to pass this along to everyone. My baby is 8 weeks and was hospitalized this week for bronchiolitis caused by RSV infection. Thankfully he only needed a one night stay on some oxygen but it was very scary! It started out as very mild sniffles and quickly got worse over a couple days. So please be extra careful about colds and taking baby out and about this time of year!

Re: RSV

  • A number of us here have unfortunately dealt with babies with RSV, myself included. Pretty sure she got it from my preschooler. Luckily she never needed to be hospitalized, but it really is scary to see your tiny baby so sick. Hoping your LO makes a quick recovery!

  • Sorry your lo is sick, my toddler and my lo were down all last week with bronchiolitis and RSV, thankfully no hospitalization was required. Scary stuff though!

  • One more here for RSV and a night in the hospital...that is after he had his Synagis shots (preemie). I think the shots helped though because he pulled out of it pretty quickly. I hope your LO feels better! It is no fun watching a tiny baby be so sick.
