local mommy group suggestions ??

looking for some childcare etc ideas and not sure this board is the place to go.. people have mentioned philadlephia mommy groups but I don't know any-- single ftm due soon and my brain is getting fried !! any ideas ?? thanks all

Check yahoo groups for parents boards. I know there is a Fairmount, East Falls and Mt. Airy Parent groups on there. I'm sure there are other neighborhoods as well.
