A little love your way

I don't post here as I am no longer single. I was a single mom for 5 years before getting into a relationship with MH. I wanted to send you guys some valentines love. I know with the weather and the randowm viruses going around things are particularly hard on single parents and I just wanted to offer you all a few hugs and pats on the back for the awesome job you are doing. I remember all the work that goes into a day and sometimes that you end up with more month than money. I wanted to give you some encouragement. There are some very dark days and very little grattitude and help (depending on your situation). Please know that your LOs love you and will appreciate the sacrifices you make for them. Sometimes things get hard but nothing is forever. So take plenty of pictures, give lots of hugs and get plenty of soggy kisses. You are doing a great job even when you think you are not. My valentines tradition is to get a heart shaped pizza (DS had just the crust the first year), rent a movie and cuddle with my LO and then get 1/2 priced valentines candy from the dollar store the next day.

Happy Valentine's Day, yall. Mine is going to be spent snowed in with the kiddos and my mother. At least I have gotten plenty of snuggle time while this transition is new. Hope your Valentine's are special.
