recall fiasco

Anyone elses mother driving them batty over this? Our convertible car seat is not affected, but my mom insists we get a replacement for the infant car seat. Does it make me a bad mom that i'm not worried about it? How is everyone handling the recall if you're affected?

    the infant seats aren't affected as far as I have read--we have a snugride 30, I believe? I'm not worried. Tell your mom to STFU...nicely? :)

    I hate the stupid button on my Graco! It's awful! I never had that trouble with my first Graco 10 years ago.

    We figured out a way that makes it easy for us to unbuckle; I'm actually annoyed about the recall. I'd rather the buckle is difficult than easy enough for baby to undo.

    We have the snug ride 30. As far as I knew the infant car seats aren't under recall. I agree the button is super hard to release.

    We have Eddie Bauer infant seat and we bought a Evenflo child seat.

    I get seriously anxious about the car seats. Do I'm pissed that I can't get through. It's all well and good until there's an emergency and I can't get my kids out of the car fast enough. The sheer thought of tat makes my heart race.

    Loss mentioned....

    FTR I know this is over the top. I just cannot help it.

    A mom on DD's BMB lost her child @7 mos in a car accident, and everything about her car seat was right. So I became obsessed with making sure the car seat was perfect. Because if it CAN fail when perfect then that 'must' mean it WILL fail if it is even slightly off.

    Again irrational, I know but this recall has brought back a lot of those intense feelings. Them hanging up on me doesn't help.
