  My mom made red cookies at Christmas that were ridiculous good! The base was red velvet cake mix and they had powdered sugar. Hold on I will try to find them!
  
  On allrecipes.com they are "red velvet crinkle cookies"

  I love these cookies, but I never get to make them because DH doesn't like mint and chocolate together....what a loser.

  I would add, they are delicious if you cut up some mints to mix into the actual cookie batter plus add the mint on top. Yum!
