I am getting more and more irritable! It's like people want to see me gain 80 lbs... I'm 5'7 , first pregnancy, 30 weeks and have only gained twelve pounds .. I have always been around 150 & pretty active. But why are people still saying "omg your bump is so little" "well as long as the doctor says baby is growing fine" how rude! Maybe I'm just sensitive and I get defensive but every BODY and pregnancy is different!! I'm sorry that some gained 60+lbs and still can't lose it.. But I really am on my last nerve everyday at work someone else is saying you're so small yet!.. I guess I don't like all the attention and being compared!! Leave my little bump alone lol!

This. I've been told I'm "huge" and that my bump is "so little" all in the span of a day. People just feel the need to fill a conversational void with something meaningless.

I tell them that the recommended weight gain for me is 25-35 lbs, and I've only gained 12 lbs so far even though I'm in my third trimester. That usually shuts them up!
