A is almost 10 months and my BFing goal has always been to 1 year. Can someone give me an estimate of how much breastmilk LO should be getting at this point? I have noticed a major decrease in supply when I pump @ work and am wondering if I should be giving him less now since he eats 3 meals and will be starting a snack tomorrow. I barely have a freezer supply and am worried I won't make my goal ughh. My current schedule is (times sometimes fluctuate)
6:30am - BF
8am - breakfast (usually oatmeal and/or fruit)
9:30am - 5 oz BM
12 - DC provided lunch
1:30p - 5oz BM
5pm - dinner
6ish - BF
7:30 - 8pm - BF
We are finally at 1 MOTN feeding. Working currently to eliminate it completely.
Give me you input. Am I doing to much?
Thanks in advance

This exactly. I actually started giving H some WCM at 11 months to make up the difference. I didn't want to have to transistion him to formula, just to move him to WCM a month later.
It is totally normal for a day pumper to start having supply issues at 8-9 months.

ine MOTN feeding
With DS I dropped my post lunch nursing session around this time and I plan to drop it with K&A at 9 months. Between 9-12 months they are transitioning from drinkers to eaters so it is natural for them to drink less as they get more food.
Unexplained Infertility

After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
At 11 months DS was down to 16 oz of milk a day. He was getting bm milk with his breakfast and bm for lunch and water with dinner but bm in a bottle right before bed. I had cut our the middle of the night feeding at 11 months ( my middle of the night feeding fell at 5 am - he bf for 5 mins and pass back out) so I just cut it out. My supply majorly dropped so about 1.5 weeks before he turned a year I quit pumping all together and used my stash to mix with whole milk and we made it to a year. Good luck! Kudos to you for still going!
Oh just want to add..my son cut back on his milk intake because he has always been a big eater. So he was eating a ton by then and didn't need as much milk. He kinda of self weaned I guess you put it?
