My carseat model is listed....bummer. Anyone have any experience getting
replacements of recalled merchandise?

  • I am sure dd's seat needs to be in that recall. Her nautilus has twice gotten stuck closed so badly that I have had to loosen the straps to their longest remove her shoes and pull her out of it. She is using it as a high back booster now though. But I even called them when we first got it because the buckle was so much different then her other nautilus which she was able to unlatch on her own. Wonder what the fix will be.
Hey I just met you, and you're my baby. This is your family, we're kind of crazy...Lilypie Kids Birthday tickersLilypie - (tl9S)Lilypie - (zrx8)imageimageimage

  • Yea I have noticed difficulties getting LO unlatched already, and he very rarely eats in that seat. Though my issue is mainly with the chest buckle...

  • I had a Graco infant seat and I couldn't unbuckle her at times. It was reallllly difficult. I emailed them and they sent me a new (but brown instead of black) buckle within a couple weeks. I used to panic and kept scissors in the car in case, God forbid, I wasn't able to get her out in an accident.

She never ate in that seat.

  • We had DS1 in the Nautilus using the seat belt (as a booster) but I finally convinced DH to switch him to the harness since it's safer. He literally just switched him over the weekend. Of course the recall happens just days after. But yeah, I already am having trouble with that buckle.

  • I have the Size 4 me 70, which is one the list, but I have had no troubles with the buckle. Should I get the new one anyway?
  • @RVASC811, sometimes (just sometimes) my paranoia leads to great ideas. :)
