I need a babysitter

Next week is my last week of school and DH's job starts on Tuesday. My friend who had been watching the boys got a job so she's only available one day. All of my other babysitters aren't available or returning my calls. I need someone from 7-3 so I don't want to ask a friend.

Ugh. I don't know what I'm going to do.

When I was in school I was a nanny - the family and I found each other on care.com and it was a great experience. Maybe try that?

Do you have any friends who have recommendations for child care?

The sitters I have I got from care. I was hoping not to have to go that route for 2 days. I have some phone calls out but no bites yet.

That sucks. It's so much harder to find short term care. I've given up on finding a daytime sitter. It just never seems to line up right. I hope you find someone soon.

I second just putting an ad out on Care.com also. May as well do it now so you have time to interview/make sure they're legit. I've found multiple nannying/babysitting jobs through it.

I'm on board with Care.com also. I've pet sat for a lady up there and also have had someone watch my dogs. I only go with people who are verified and have background checks. It's a great site. I would just take the time to chat and meet with whoever you think would be good match for what you are looking for.
