    Symptoms?  The third trimester exhaustion is setting in...but it could also be that I've had this awful cold for a week with a never ending hacking cough that has also led to laryngitis - fun...

    Upcoming appointments? I have an endocrinologist appointment tomorrow to see if my synthroid meds need to be increased and an OB appointment next Tuesday at 29 weeks - the first two week appointment.

    Rants/raves?  Rants - see above about this never ending cold.
    Raves - I've been taking care of a baby at work that was born at 24 weeks, now three weeks old.  I've been taking care of said baby most of my days at work and I'm really bonding with the mother and baby.  Mom yesterday asked what days I'm back at work and she wants me to take care of her baby - I explained to her how it doesn't work like that and how we take our assignments at work, etc...she understands, but she would like me to be taking care of her baby -- it was nice to hear :) we don't always get a lot of appreciation shown to us with our client population, but this family is an exception to all of that.

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival?  What are your fears with baby's arrival?

    Most looking forward to the newborn snuggles and getting to dress her up.  My biggest fears/concerns would be the sleep exhaustion - I've survived it once, but not with a toddler.  I'm also afraid of the jealousy issues that will probably pop up and trying to spend time with DS while also have a newborn attached to my boob 24/7...those first few weeks of DS's life all he did was nurse...I was a prisoner to the couch and I fear how that will work while also having a toddler.

    Week/fruit? 27 weeks Rutabaga

     Symptoms? Just exhausted. I never gained my energy back.

     Upcoming appointments? Next week Monday with my OB and Tuesday with High Risk doctor to look at my cyst again. I get to see Lorelei twice next week!

     Rants/raves? Raves: It has been two weeks since my GD test and I have heard nothing. I'm taking it that I passed. 

     GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival? What are your fears with baby's arrival? I can't wait to hold her and smell in baby sent. Knowing she is all mine! Fears are that I will not know what to do with her. Also that she is all mine!

    Week/fruit? 25 Weeks / Cauliflower

    Symptoms? Achy back and I've been a little tired.

    Upcoming appointments? Glucose Test and 28 wk OB visit on March 3

    Rants/raves?
    Rants: I'm starving all the time! What the heck.
    Raves: I started swimming laps a few weeks ago and am loving it. It's not bothering my back and I've been able to swim about a mile every time.

    GTKY:
    What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival?  I'm so excited to see DD with DS. I'm also really looking forward to seeing DH with his baby boy.
    What are your fears with baby's arrival? I'm worried about getting through the first few weeks/month with having DD to take care while being up around the clock feeding DS. Also, I'm a little worried about how I'll juggle both DD (2 yrs old) and DS. I'm sure we'll get into a good routine, but right now I'm a little worried about the unknown.

    Symptoms? None really, balance is off on certain exercises.

    Upcoming appointments? Just had my glucose today YUM!!

    Rants/raves? Feeling very fortunate I've been able to keep up with my running, and not feeling as tired like I did with my first.

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival? What are your fears with baby's arrival?

    I can't wait to see my son interact with him as well as my precious bear(my fur baby Yorkie) my only real fear is my son feeling neglected or acting out. Also my car still insists on jumping in the crib I don't mind so much because I know the baby won't be in it unless the door is shut,however, my son had the worst cat dander issues :(

    @HatchetFace  I swear we are too much alike sometimes...I had three contractions when laying in bed last night.  Scared me because they were pretty close together and I was getting worried about preterm labor.  I kept changing my position to see if they would go away.  Thankfully, they did, but if they hadn't I was going to try soaking in the tub to see if that worked prior to going to the hospital (with DS I contracted for 3 hours (full term) before getting in the shower and they stopped).  I think mine was the same as yours - over doing it.  I had a really busy day at work on my feet for almost 12 hours and didn't drink enough water....taking it easy today.

    Symptoms?
    Lots of Braxton Hicks every night. They always seem to go away quickly and I feel great during the day so I'm guessing it's normal.

    Upcoming appointments?
    GD test this morning - not going to lie, I thought the drink tasted kinda good. Monthly appt on Monday

    Rants/raves?
    My SIL came with me to my GD appt. She was really excited about getting to feel the baby kick. Of course, he didn't move once while we were there and now that I'm home he's bouncing around. I think he's just really shy.

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival? What are your fears with baby's arrival?
    I can't wait to just hold him and watch DH bond with him! I feel like it will be magical!
    I'm very nervous about how I'll handle everything emotionally, mainly once DH is back at work and our siblings aren't checking in on us as frequently.

    Week/fruit? 26- and lettuce I think? Those things never make any sense

    Symptoms? Eh energy wise not too bad been able to keep my 3-4x a week gym with my physical job. But emotionally it's been a freakin mess- money is super tight, the job I took when we moved here super under pays me and just let me know that even though I was given more responsibility and I designed and am executing my own weekly marketing flyer (all not in my JD) I am not eligible for a raise because I moved up too quickly- yes I am too good for a raise! And I make 10.25/hr with two relevant degrees! I also almost started crying when three of my stevia sweetened cream sodas fell out of the car today when I opened the door. So yeah I'm a mess.

    Upcoming appointments? Endo on Thursday- finally! Been waiting NINE weeks for this initial consult when I have an existing thyroid issue. Then GTT next Tuesday...meh

    Rants/raves? DH has been able to feel peanut!! So exciting :)

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival? What are your fears with baby's arrival? I just can't wait to hold her and see DH hold her...I want to snuggle the crap out of her. Fear wise...not having my paycheck for 6 weeks at least even as sad as it is we need it. I hate having to use so much of savings. Also that I will turn into a sleep deprived crazy zombie.

    25 weeks, Cauliflower

    Symptoms?
    Dry skin, some breast tenderness, tired all the time but not sleeping well at night, lots of bathroom breaks

    Upcoming appointments?
    Just had one today. My BP was 130/80, which it has been before. When I go to my regular doctor or gyno, they check my BP twice because I'm always nervous when I first go in to the office. The doctor said I don't have protein in my urine, so he is not worried. They will continue to monitor, though. I go back for GTT in 3 weeks, and the perinatal next Friday. 

    Rants/raves?
    Raves- I felt LO have hiccups for the first time today!!!!! It was the coolest/strangest feeling. 
    Rant- The governor has issued a state of emergency for the entire state of MD. I'm supposed to have my monthly grad class tomorrow night, but they have yet to cancel it. Come on! We are supposed to get a foot of snow, and it's supposed to start at the exact time that class would normally end. Anyone who has to travel further than 5 feet would be caught in the start of the storm. Cancel. Class. 

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival?  What are your fears with baby's arrival?

    I'm most looking forward to finally being able to hold my little girl that we have worked so hard for! 

    I'm TERRIFIED of breastfeeding. It's so wrong, but I am just scared that I won't know what I'm doing.

    Symptoms? Dry, itchy skin, hips hurting while I sleep, headaches coming back :-(

    Upcoming appointments? 28 week glucose/bloodwork/ultrasound on the 25th!

    Rants/raves? Rants: DH and Dad STILL have not brought the crib/changing table/dresser in from storage making the stockpile of baby stuff bigger in the closet.  Raves: Feeling accomplished today as DH and I worked though some tough issues between us last night and were able to pull together today to get a lot of heavy issues figured out!

    GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with baby's arrival?  What are your fears with baby's arrival?

    My biggest fear is not knowing how to comfort my son.  DH will continue to work 3rd shift, and I am scared of feeling that he isn't there to support me when I might need him (which isn't going to be true). 

    I can not wait to meet my active, crazy kid that I fell in love with over 20 weeks ago.  I am looking forward to holding him and learning everything about him!
    In memory of the angel babies that were too perfect for Earth.
