Teeth

So, it seems like forever ago since my DS has got a tooth. He only has two on top, two on bottom. And then tonight, I went to go brush his teeth and he is cutting a tooth way in back - maybe a 1 year molar? But no other teeth since the two on top, two on bottom. Has this happened to anyone? Can teeth come in out of order?

The little boy I watch had this happen. He had the four you mentioned and then got four molars.

My DD got a lateral incisor before either of her two middle ones on the top. So yes, they can come out of order. She got her last incisor and 4 molars at the same time.

Keep an eye out for others.. DS only had 4 teeth (the 4 you mentioned) until he was 16 months. Then, in 1 week, he got 5 new teeth. It was a nightmare week for all of us but 2 more on top, 1 on the bottom and 2 molars all broke through in about a 7 day span!

My daughter's came out of order. She got 4 bottom teeth first. She just got her top teeth within the last couple of months. She all 4 top front teeth within a couple weeks (they came 2 at a time).
