I'm in Houston and it's not technically a cold climate but we've had a rougher than usual winter here and we just aren't prepared for it, so pretty much very infrequently. Hoping it warms up soon so we can get some fresh air.
Nebraska here, take her to the store or anywhere I need to go. She wears long sleeve, pants, hat, blanket, cozy cover then another blanket over cozy cover. Keeps her toasty!
We go out as a family every day to take my daughter to and from pre-school and to run errands. We're not hanging out on the back deck or going for long walks, but we leave the house most days regardless of the weather conditions.
In Ontario it is cold and snowy, but that is the norm here. We go out daily to run errands and stuff, and been out a couple times in a snow suit to get a little sun and fresh air on the warmer days
We go on our normal errands unless it's like single digits (or colder) and windy. When possible I leave him home but a lot of times it's not possible and we have to pickup/dropped at preschool so out we go.

I live in the mountains of NC and I take her out every day. Granted I have to take the dog for walks while dh is working or at school. I do whatever I need to and just bundle her up. It's been in the 20s and 30s here.

I'm also in Ontario, so don't really have the luxury of waiting for warmer days to go out. The only days I cancelled plans because I didn't want to take LO out was when it was -40 Celsius with the windchill
Aside from dr appts and once on a quick Costco run, I have only been taking LO out to take DD1 to school, and that's because we do the drop off car line. My pedi recommended not taking her out till after her 2 mth shots (which are next Thursday, so we've almost made it!).
ETA: I am very lucky that my dad, who is retired, is close by and loves spending time with his granddaughters. He has been a godsend and will usually watch the baby when I need to go out. Otherwise I'm sure I'd be taking her out a lot more due to necessity.
Another Nebraska girl. Since I have an almost 11 year old with his own life, we're or almost daily going to and from different activities, grocery shopping, etc. We just warm up the van and cover up!

We're out somewhere everyday. Mostly to drop off and pick up DS from school, and a couple errands throughout the week. We aren't going for walks or spending much time outside though. I can't stand this weather...I can't wait for this snow to go away!

I'm in Ontario too! We don't go out too much. Mostly because it's cold and I hate being cold lol. Once or twice a week we go out to target or the grocery store. We will go out more when it starts to warm up.
In CT it snows and/or is below freezing every other day! I barely take LO out. I'd rather stay warm and cozy indoors. I've always been like this during the winter months even before I had a baby. If I don't have to go out in it then I'd rather stay warm in my house!
That said, I can't fucking wait for spring and summer!
Philadelphia area: she goes out at least twice a week to my mom's, and with me on errands sometimes. Its been snowing/icy every week for awhile so I'm still waiting to take her out on our first walk!

Ontario mama here too. We didn't go out too much the first few weeks but now we head out almost every day. The inlaws are less than 5 minutes away and watch DS1 a few days a week. We are venturing to the mall today too. But we go from our garage to their underground so it's not much outside time at all. I feel bad for baby because he hasn't really seen the sun but it's so cold! We are expecting yet another 10 cm of snow today
Sadly every day right now - went back to work last week so LO has to go to daycare every day. I've been warming up the car every morning! Today it was in the teens, so that was like a heatwave!
Illinois here- she goes out at least twice a week when I drop dd1 at the sitter and we run errands. I have her covered in blankets with a snuggle thingy plus a canopy cover so she's pretty warm-- next week it's going to be in the 30&40s so we will be getting outside and taking a walk- I need sunshine and fresh air and I want to try out the double stroller
Re: Those in cold climates-how often do you take LO outside?
