Talk to me about double jogging strollers

I will need a double jogging stroller come summer and I need some recommendations. It has to be able to accommodate an infant seat, or if that is not important, I could just use my single until LO is big enough to sit in the double since they will obviously be using it way longer not in an infant seat. Help!

My friend runs with a double BOB and loves it. That is probably what I would choose if my kids were the type to tolerate such things. (They won't stay put in the stroller for long). The BOB does have an attachment that allows you to clip in an infant seat.

The double BOB is incredible. It's so easy to push and retains it's value really well so the total cost you'll put in in the end isn't that much. I adore mine and I'm dreading selling it this spring... I think we need a triple so that's the only reason I'm selling.

Just FYI, it's not recommended to jog with a baby under 1 at all due the forces on their necks and spines. It's kinda similar to shaken baby syndrome. You can walk and everything but I would be cautious about jogging too soon.

love the BOB! I started running with mine about 11 months. Mine has a switch so you can change the setting to swivel or stationary. I am glad I invested in the bigger wheels.They are excellent in the snow and the sand at the beach.

I would definitely get the swivel wheel. It's easier for you and better for resale value.

The BOB Revolution goes from swivel to fixed. When I ran with 1 I always had the wheel fixed, with 2 I've never been able to run comfortably with it fixed. I've never heard waiting for a year to run, I think it's usually 6 or 8 months, however that it without a car seat. If you use the car seat adapter it's the same as the baby riding in the car, just stay on smooth paths so you're not running up and down curbs.

The double BOB might give you sticker shock, but it's cheaper to just buy it than to spend $300 on a different double jogging stroller, hate it, and then have to go back and buy the double BOB anyway.
