Aw: Smooth bed transition

So, after sleeping in a hospital bed for 3 weeks---we were nervous about having Reese in a crib at home. Her mobility isn't great (fucking steroids---the root of all evil---she seems to have EVERY side effect of them) but we didn't want to push a transition to the bed. (We were planning on doing it around her 3rd birthday). However, every time during the day when she was tired she wanted to sleep in mommy and daddy's bed. DH decided to put a mattress on the floor in her room, right next to the crib. We have been giving her a choice: "Reesie's crib" or "Reesie's bed"--she always chooses the bed. As a matter fact as soon I put her in it--she tells me: "Mommy go door!" Gee, thanks kid.

I think this week we will be dismantling her crib and ordering her a bed. DH went to target to pick up a sheet set for her.
