Ugh! I forgot the name of the blood test!

My Dr has an accent which at times is hard for me to understand at times, the earlier the appointment the more sleepy I am the harder it is to understand. I have to go to the hospital to have it done but I can't remember the name to make an appointment for it. I know it has to do with the type of blood I am and that it either starts with a B or an R.

You may want to call your doctor's office because if you're having blood drawn you'll need a lab order from the doctor's office.

If it is related to your blood type, then it is most likely Rhogam. It's usually given at 28 weeks, is that about how far along you are?

I would still call the office. It should be in your chart what you need. As someone who used to work in a doctor's office, they should be more than happy to clarify for you.
