And best way to clean burnt on food off the bottom of a pot?
Ahhhhh being a mom is hard! This is the second time in 2 weeks or so that I've burnt dinner. at least it's some what salvageable the top part of the soup.
I usually use salt to scrub all the pots. I usually spry the cleaner the I made, is just alcohol with soap, and essential oils, It help with the smell. Or try spry the recipe from ITK. The magic volca. I haven try it but, if alcohol works, the volca will do to.
I'm hoping to get it all cleaned up so DH doesn't know how much I suck at cooking ATM.
Wait a minute, isn't that supposed to cue him that he needs to cook more so you don't have to?
He did the majority of the cooking for the past year... from pregnancy aversions to being a new mom. He's been great, now i'm trying to take care of him. Since he's providing for us to let me stay home 4x a week.
When we bought our stainless, the salesman told us to fill the cooled pot partway with water, then put over low to medium heat until the stuck-on bits loosen. I usually scrape at it with a rubber spatula. Then steel wool takes off the rest of the gunk.
