Can we do another question related to the qotd? What do you miss about life before LO? (Of course, it is assumed we love our LOs to death and wouldn't change our life now for anything.)

Mine are trivial, but I miss being able to carry my cute little purses and the ability to leave my house in 2 minutes flat.

Eat dinner late with dh he is an awesome cook and use to make long complicated dinners for us. Now we just try to eat before the kids melt down.

I miss not having to worry about finding a babysitter or try to schedule things around when h is not working. I also miss being able to take a nap after work if I needed to. I miss having the ability to get 8 hours of sleep.

We miss random road trips to Huntington Beach (we are in Las Vegas). We used to jump in the car and go places for a night or two.

Being able to leave the house in a couple of minutes compared to how it is now + sleeping 8 unninterruped hours and napping whenever.

mine is kind of silly but I miss not having to check a suitcase when traveling.

Sleep, whenever sex, lazy time. Travel over a few hours (she hates being in the car). We haven't been to the family cabin since she was a tiny meatloaf baby.
Oh, and the biggest for me - having a clean, uncluttered house. I have definitely relaxed my standards, but it still drives me nuts.

Sleep. Very much sleep. And we weren't too spontaneous by any means. But I really miss deciding to go and do something that was off our norm and then just do it with very little planning. Nice dinners out. Being able to act sick when I am actually sick rather than just pushing through it and crashing at night.

Me and DH just talked about this. I love DS to pieces but I miss weekend trips, going to a restaurant and enjoying my food, sleeping on weekends, naps, reading.
