I love this idea for a shower gift, it's a designer, patterned maternity hospital gown from 'Bring Your Own Gown.' Next shower I go to where the mom is still pregnant, this is what she's getting. Too cute!
I think they are adorable and considered buying one for myself, but I would rather spend the money on something I am gonna wear longer than a day or so.
Yeah, they are pretty expensive. Maybe cause I was in the hospital for about a week, I'd have appreciated it a bit more. If you're in and out in 2 days, then I guess you wouldn't get as much out of it. I went into preterm labor on the Tuesday and was admitted but didn't give birth until the Friday and wasn't able to be discharged till Monday (and had to wear an IV the whole time which made wearing my own clothes pretty hard). And friends and family were popping in like crazy. It was actually really hard to get some rest there were so many people, even people I didn't really know all that well. It would have been nice to wear something other than the almost see-through hospital gowns that my hospital has. You're right though, maybe a better gift for someone you know is going to wear it more than a day.
Re: Product Rave: Bring Your Own Gown
No way in hell would I spend $95 on something like that. A tank top and yoga pants (or nothing) will work just fine.?
If I got something like that at a shower, I'd appreciate it, but I would feel like it was a bit of a wasted gift honestly.?
