dr appt update...

Well they couldn't test the karotyping...because to early and no chronic villi:(...so still no answers he said worse case scenerio unbalanced relocation where my husbands and I have good chromosomes but when get together doesn't line up...chance of normal pregnancy is 1 in 4 ...but we don't know. So we are given the go ahead for April medicated cycle but going to my husbands country of albania for much needed vacation and will do cycle in may..hopefully fully relaxed;)...

    Sounds like a good game plan. Are you going to try on your own until may.

    @hooligans4 ....No he said for me not to get pregnant for 3 months ..usually recommends one cycle or when emotionally ready but I've had 3 mc close together so he wants good lining plus I have huge corpus lutem cyst on rt ovary he wants to go down...takes sometimes 9 weeks after loss...

    Sorry to hear this, my friend. April is right around the corner, keep you chin up till then.

    Me: 44 - Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)

    IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
    IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
    IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
    IVF #2: Apr '    14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
    IVF #3: June '14     ...     Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
    Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

    Sorry for your loss again.  Have a great time in Albania, I went to Croatia last year which is very close to Albania.  It's beautiful over there.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Glad to hear you are going to take some time to go on vacation - I hope it will allow you to just relax and take a break from all the treatments/cycles, etc.  And April and May will be here before you know it.  Sending you positive wishes!

    Yeah it's defiantly in order. It is a beautiful country. We might move back eventually. For those that don't know it's located above Greece across from Italy;)...I talked to nurse told her I was going in April she said wait and do medicated cycle in May. He thinks clomid will give me better more mature eggs. My husband is a little confused on why we can't try on own in April , since staying pregnant I'd the problem not getting? Thanks all for positive thoughts...love you gals!

    Im sorry you weren't able to get more conclusive answers....

    Your plans for the spring sound excellent--enjoy your vacation! DH and I were just talking about wanting to go to Albania (we went to Slovenia--not too far away--for our honeymoon and it was awesome!) Will this be your first trip there?

    @Davie813 oh no my husband is Albanian and I lived there almost a yr with him. He has only been in USA a little more than two yrs. I come back here to be with my mom. My dad passed when I was 11. We probably will move back there eventually. So my mil and fil are in Albania . He only has cousin and aunt in Chicago . I love it there..lol

    Getting to immerse yourself in another culture like that is so cool!  What language(s) do people speak there?  Are you fluent?

    @Davie813 they speak Albanian , them and Kosovo speak it because it use to be one country. Yes I speak some. I have to learn it though because he is pretty sure he wants to go back. They have cheaper healthcare and excellent schools so that's kinda why. It's beautiful there, my h laughs because ppl in USA doesn't know where it's at they think it was part of ussr that broke up. They don't realize it's above Greece, across from Italy..lol so Mediterranean.
