T & Ps for a friend

I have a friend who has had an extremely difficult pregnancy. She'd had several miscarriages before finally getting a sticky baby. At their first 16 week scan, they were told it was very likely the baby would have something seriously wrong with it and they spent months trying to figure that all out. It has since been determined that the baby appears to be ok (all the genetic stuff came back clear and the ultrasounds are looking normal now) but of course, they won't know for sure until the baby is born. Then, they found out that she has hypothyroidism that should have been caught early in the pregnancy, but her first OB didn't run the right test so it wasn't caught until last month by her high risk OB..therefore, the baby is at risk for Cognitive developmental issues since it wasn't treated in the first 20 weeks. Now, she's having serious BP issues. They are not calling her Pre-E...yet....but they gave her steroid shots over the weekend and told her they will probably take her at 36 weeks if not before. Today, she's still having serious issues and they may take her as early as tomorrow or Thurs (she's about 34 weeks right now). Please keep her, the baby, and her SO in your thoughts and prayers...they've been through a lot so far and there's still a lot up in the air.
