Canadian woman on life support delivers healthy baby warning, sad!

The woman has been on life support since Dec 28th when she was declared legally brain dead. Her son was born via CSection and they took her off life support and she died. Incredibly sad but baby Iver is healthy.

She was 27 weeks when it happened, and they were going to try to wait until 35 weeks to deliver the baby, so it looks like they got pretty close to their goal. It is so sad, but the husband said he knew that his wife would have wanted him to give their baby the best possible chance at life and the husband and her family were on board. And they knew it was healthy in utero. The big difference between this case and Texas.

Wow. What a heartbreaking story. Thats wonderful that the baby was born healthy, but how incredibly difficult it must be on the family to have lost the mother. My heart goes out to them.
