I'm grateful for DH. He has been a really great partner the last few months, but with other stuff going on in life, in general... it just makes me realize what a great human being he is, on top of being a great husband and dad-to-be.
I'm also grateful for my mom. She's my BFF and has been so supportive with pregnancy and how I am trying to prepare to balance this new HUGE thing in life. She's always there to offer help, which is incredible, but more she offers encouragement and advice and makes me feel like I can take on the world. She's great.
I'm grateful for our friends who offer to come and help do work on the house, so we don't have to pay crazy prices to hire people.
And lastly I'm grateful for this board, for bigger reasons, like how much the women here genuinely care about each other and our LO's, but also because it is really, really nice to have a place to come and just 'be pregnant'. Not everyone IRL wants to hear about it all the time. Sometimes (at work) I feel like I have to be great and OK and like nothing is different all the time. It can be a little exhausting and I'm glad I have this place where I can freely be that pregnant lady.
1. Girl Scout Cookie sales have started and I was able to buy some from my coworker today! ::brushes Thin Mint crumbs from mouth::
2. DH is on vacation for two days and gets to spend them with DD. I love that she gets a couple extra special daddy days.
3. FIL had emergency surgery on Saturday night and is doing well. I'm thankful for the health and saftely of family and friends in general, including baby who is busy kicking me right now!
1. My amazing DH who rubs my back and takes care of DD if I'm too beat to help.
2. A surprise sale we found at ikea that allowed us to install wood decking on our balcony. I've been wanting it for years and we saw the price drop this weekend. Now I have a gorgeous balcony! (And a backache!)
3. The fact that I live in Miami. It's gorgeous out.
4. Leftovers from my mom's family dinner. Roast pork with potato/sweet poptato mash (with obscene amounts of sour cream and butter).
I'm thankful for my H who works really hard. He's an amazing dad and I really couldn't ask for anyone better.
I'm thankful that we have good health insurance. DD is getting worse and I'm thankful that I'm able to take her in.
I'm thankful for my mom who would do anything and everything for me. I love her so much it's ridiculous and I hope that I have the relationship with my daughters that I have with my own mom.
Lastly, I'm thankful for nap time. It's been saving my sanity this past week. Plus I've been getting cuddles from my usually not cuddly toddler.
1. I am thankful that my dogs are safe and back home. Somehow our back gate was opened and my three fur-babies went on a grand adventure yesterday. I looked for well over 30 minutes for them yesterday in the snowy foggy weather, before finding them.
2.My DH who drove 45 minutes out of his way today to fill up my car with gas and bring me my wallet that I left at home this morning.
3. My extra plan period. I hate that all of my kids in my intervention group are sick today, but man i'm able to get so much done.
1. I am thankful for all you ladies and how much you care about 'strangers' on the Internet. Perhaps not everyone sees it, but every time I log on to the board, I see an outpouring of support and caring that warms my heart. I love being a part of this community.
2. I am thankful that LO has decided to kick on a regular basis, even if it does mean she's kicking my bladder. It feels weird and kind of painful and amazing and I love it.
3. I am thankful for the good news I received about my application to start a masters degree in September and for my family and local community that are willing to help me out after the baby comes so I can make this new adventure happen.
4. I am grateful for how snuggly and well behaved my dogs have been lately. Puppy snuggles are the best.

1) I'm so grateful for how awesome my workplace is about pregnancy. Both my bosses are very encouraging with taking the max time off. My insurance is good and the additional maternity program here provides additional benefits.
2) we pretty much have the first year of the baby's clothes (sizes NB-12 mos) clean and waiting, and we've spent a total of $9. My family has picked up tons at thrift stores for $2 a bag and two friends have given is their babies' entire wardrobes.
3) I'm drawing cat pictures for work today and nothing else. (Doing graphic design for an ebook.)
2. Plentiful supplies of orange juice in the work cafeteria so I don't have to have another pregnancy hormone meltdown.
3. M&M cookies
4. DH & I both taking off work for Valentine's Day. This is pretty unusual for us but he pushed me to take a PTO day so I caved and took one. When I told him I will have the day off he said, "OK good because I have something special planned." Sometimes I really love that guy.
1. Thankful the olympics were on for me to watch when I had to work from home over this weekend.
2. Thankful I'm getting the chance to go and see a dermatologist tomorrow to hopefully help me out with my pregnancy skin problems.
3. Thankful for the free baby items we have gotten from people. (nursery furniture, some clothes, a baby bath, an infant carseat soon, a high chair, and some other items.
4. Thankful I had the forsight to work over the weekend because if I hadn't there is no way I would have gotten this project done by 2:00 PM today.
5. Thankful my H didn't have any projects to work on this weekend and we got to spend lots of quality time together. He's cool.
1. My husband. He's been amazing the past few months, picking up so much responsibility so I can rest and be lazy as much as I can! 2. My babies. So glad everything is going well, I'm so grateful to feel them move. 3. My family. So much free stuff for the babies : ) and now they're taking care if the shower too. So sweet. 4. When I sit and think about it, my life in general. God has blessed me with so much. I'm healthy, happy, about to add two sweet little girls to my family, and so thankful for all of that.
I am just thankful in general but especially for baby girl dancing and kicking away, my wonderful DH and our upcoming family trip to Mexico for some sun in two weeks. Bring on the beach baby.
4. I am grateful for how snuggly and well behaved my dogs have been lately. Puppy snuggles are the best.
I am so jealous! My dog has been a holy terror lately. He's snuggly and cute later at night but OH MY GOSH. The weather needs to get better and the mounds of snow need to melt because my dog needs a walk to get some energy out in a major way.
TBH, part of the reason I'm grateful for this is because we had a puppy playdate with our neighbours, and their dog spent the three hours we visited barking his head off while ours sat around and stared at him like he was from another planet. And, they haven't destroyed anything recently because we've been good about putting everything away! So, maybe I'm really grateful that they've got us trained well?

@sempre_staccato (sorry, I can't get it to tag right) - do you have a Bernese?? If so, I'm completely jealous right now!
I'm grateful for...finally feeling the LO move consistently, my very lazy and comfy day with DH yesterday, and the apparent end of potty training for my little furbaby dobe (the snow/cold definitely put a damper in that, but it seems to be better lately!). I was just getting sooo tired of cleaning up puppy presents. And, lets me honest, there were a few times that I debated whether or not I could ignore it until DH discovered it and had to deal with it.
I am thankful for my DH. He's been really great in chipping in! Got him a chocolate lollypop as a thank you (and didn't even ask for a bite!)
I am thankful for my job. I have awesome supervisors who care about my test results.
I'm thankful for my comfy couch, which gives me a place to sleep when I can't sleep comfortably in my bed.
I'm thankful for my mom, who helps out with getting me to my millions of appts so that I can spend more time at work, and don't have to leave quite so early as I would if I had to rely on the bus/train.
Just wrote on the Monday B*tchfest thread and now after venting feel like I need to get back on track and remember that despite daily frustrations, overall I have so much to be thankful for! 1. Non-stop baby kicks let me know this ones doing fine and growing in there. 2. We have been healthy when I work with so many kiddos I know are passing around a crummy cold 3. The snow is melting 4. Tomorrow is NOT a snow day (no adding days in June) but it is a two hour late start...sleep in! 5. My little girl who is growing up so fast and amazes me everyday
1. I am thankful for my best friend- the sweetest, most loyal girl around!
2. I am thankful that our 20 week scan went well and we got a cool video of the baby's heartbeat. That I can listen to whenever I want!
3. I am thankful to have had an awesome mom. She may no longer be here, but all of her lessons are living through me, especially as I prepare to become a mom.
Re: Monday Gratitude
2. My coat still fits.
3. Follow up scan went fine, almost had to come back a third time.
4. Fiji water (It is do dumb that I have a water preference.)
5. Walking Dead is back!!!
