DH's grandmother is dying. We think it'll be today or tomorrow and we'll travel for the services. Quinn just woke up from his nap with a 102.9 fever and of course the pedi is closed now. I just know both situations are going to peak at the same time.

Thanks all. We're a little sad but she's 99 so we're all at peace with it, honestly. Now it's just a waiting game and the potential illness is just an added challenge we don't need. I'm worried it's an ear infection because he's fighting bottles again and this would be his second in a month and his third so far. Goddamn winter!!

Thanks all, She passed away at 5:30 tonight. Thankfully, the baby is no sicker and the services aren't until Friday and Saturday so the good (?) news is that if he IS sick, we have time to deal with it.

So, it's a double ear infection. But I'm looking at all the silver linings. The pedi office, by some miracle, had a doctor in for a few hours today (they're not technically open on Sundays) so they had us come in. Plus now we can treat it and be done and I don't have to miss work since he's on medicine now.
