Where did you buy your car seat?

Where did you buy your car seat? I've heard from you guys that BRU is over priced. We kind of like going to the store and seeing the product before buying. We have walmarts, targets, BRU, buybuybaby around us. I'm actually not sure what other stores you can buy baby stuff from. I buy from amazon a lot but like I said its nice to see it. Or should I go to BRU and go home and buy online?

    I would find what you want in person them find a good deal online. Albeebaby, diapers.com, and Amazon are usually cheaper then in store.

    I checked out the one I thought I wanted at BRU, tried it in Dh's car (since it's a lot smaller than my suv), then bought it for cheap on clearance at Target. We got the britax b-safe and b-agile combo. Amazon had it for a lit cheaper than BRU, too.

    We bought our infant seats on Amazon after looking at them in person at BRU. We bought our convertibles at BRU during the trade-in event. We traded in an expired seat from my now 12 year old nephew.

    I price watched my seats and ended up buying one at BBB and the other on amazon. Best prices won out.

    BBB and BRU price match.  I know BBB won't let you use a coupon though if they price match.

    Neither will BRU.  But I always found better prices on-line than I ever did in store.

    We bought our Graco Snugride at Burlington Coat Factory of all places! They had the best price.

    BRU, at least mine, has a pretty limited selection. We looked at them then purchased online..I believe amazon.

    We needed a second seat in a pinch and bought one at BRU with a coupon which brought it down to an online price.

    I bought my infant carrier for dd3 from diapers.com
    It was my first purchase from them.  I got my Britax Chaperone on an extremely good deal.  The other seat I was looking at was the snugride 35.  I spent the same on the chaperone as I would have the snugride 35 with a first time buyer discount and the seat was discounted already.

    i bought all my seats in a local store. i paid the same price i would have anywhere else. i had peace of mind that the seat was never used and returned by someone else. i also had it installed free by a cpst and got a lesson on using it.  i did this with my infant and convertible seats. maybe if i had waited and scoured the internet for a few weeks i could have saved a few dollars more, but then i'd have to drive to have it checked somewhere anyway so that money would have been spent in gas and my time. i also really believe in shopping local for anything i can. i realize not all areas have stores like this near them though.

    We got our infant seat and convertible car seat (to use in a couple months) from diapers.com. All orders exceeding $50 receive free two day shipping, and they have great sales.

    We finally decided on the Chicco Nextfit. I bought it this weekend at Target for $56 off, in store. No coupon or red card needed.

    7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
    Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
    Follow up testing in September all clear;
    Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
    FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
    12/12- Officially an OB patient!
    Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
    Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
    Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
    Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
    Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
    FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
    DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
    FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN

    Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)

    Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids

    Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

    Likely OAD- NBC
