prenatal classes/natural childbirth

My husband and I are having a hard time finding a prenatal class that focuses on natural childbirth. We live on the south side, but are having the baby at Illinois Masonic, in the city. We don't mind taking a ride north or to the city, as long as it's on a weekend. Any suggestions?? I'm due April 10 and feel like we're running out of time!

Hi Marin! Check out Hypnobirthing! There is a class offered through Little Company on the south side and Illinois Masonic. I'm due in April, too, and we're signed up for the class on the north side. If you're delivering with the midwives at IL Masonic, they're very familiar with Tanya McHale and her hypnobirthing class!

Try the Bradley Method--www.bradleybirth.com They've got classes throughout the city and they're great!
