Which statement below best describes your typical scenario when reading a book to you LO?
Reading to LO (POLL) 96 votes
LO sits in my lap and lets me read the entire book.
LO only lets me read the entire book if its interactive (Peek-a-boo, Touch and Feel, Etc). Otherwise he/she tries to hurry me to turn the pages.
LO brings me a few certain books and those are the only ones he/she will show any interest in.
LO will bring me a book, but only wants me to open it and then he/she is off to the next thing.
LO has no interest in books.
Re: Reading to LO (POLL)
I voted for the first one, but that really only happens at night. We read one book every night before bed, and it is the only time he will really stay put for one.
Otherwise, he will grab them off the shelf and open them himself (or ask for help opening one), look at it for a few seconds, then go pick out another one. Rinse. Repeat. I think he just likes piling them up and making messes. lol

ETA: He gets irritated if someone reads the book "wrong." DH reads a construction book better than I do, apparently, and DS will interrupt me with "all done. Dada read it" after a few pages. I guess I don't do the bulldozer voice right?
