Hello! I never really post but really enjoy reading about everyone's experiences as I wait for out little boy to arrive in May. I was super scared and nervous when I didn't pass my 1 hour glucose test because I have worked so hard to be healthy (I am generally pretty healthy so it surprised me that I didn't pass).
Anyhow I am sooo happy to share that I passed the 3 hour test with flying colors. If you didn't pass the 1 hour don't stress out too much, just eat and excercise as best you can, there's soo many factors that play into the 1 hour test.
Yay to being done with that scare, back to getting the nursary ready (aka cleaning out our guest room)!!
And congrats to all the other May mommies-to-be!
Re: Passed 3 hour glucose!!!
I agree... Bring healthy has nothing to do with GD or Type 1 diabetes for that matter! It's only Type 2 that has anything to do with your health.
But how nice of you to finally grace us with your "active" presence and this lovely post about you.
And if I want to post something about how your post is whiny and you obviously have no clue what the definition of bullying is, I have every damn right in the world to.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.

Not that I am aware, but there are tests to predict pree but none are available in the US yet.

Not too much can be seen on an ultrasound in terms of the vascular component of the placenta...especially not on a microscopic level.

I agree with @Hatchetface, it's completely ridiculous to imply that all you have to do is eat healthy and do crossfit and you won't get the beetus. It's a false statement and she should be informed.
This whole being called "bullies" thing is getting old real fast, I think bitches (maybe Americans in general) need to quit being so damn sensitive and put on their big girl panties!

Again, I apologize if I offended anyone I do not think that anyone causes GD or has much control over getting it for that matter. My doctor told me to excercise because that helps with the regulation of insulin but that's as much as I have.
To be honest I just wanted to share with others the relief of passing. I was also curious about how others felt when they had to take the 3 hour test because I was just scared and nervous. Yes, I am clearly a first timer.
Also, I will post an intro once I can figure that out.
Sorry for the long post.
I was meaning earlier on. It's interesting to hear about the notching. My bp normally runs around a max of 110/65 and today it was 130/82 which has me worries. Especially after hearing severe morning sickness in first tri can be an early symptom. I'm definitely going to mention it when I call my OB tomorrow and see what he says. I keep telling myself that my BP could just be up because of the UTI though.
