Needed to know if I could take anything for the cold before my c/s tonight. Well my Ob office phones are down! Kept saying "call failed." So I called L&D and wouldn't you know the nurse that answered had just left the room with MY doc. She ran back in and handed her the phone so I could talk to her. How awesome is that? And glad I did call- she wants me to take a sudafed and drink another bottle of water. And definitely do more steam and saline. She also wants me there a little early so anesthesia can decide on breathing treatment. Also, she didn't know their phones were down!

That's awesome that you were able to talk to her! I am so sorry that you are sick. That is the worst! I hope that you start feeling better and that your recovery isn't too bad. Best of luck!

I'm glad you got to talk to your doc this morning! DS woke up this coughing this morning and I thought of your post right away. Praying I don't come down with something (especially a cough, ugh!) before my c/s next week!

Hope the Sudafed helps and you feel a little better before this evening!

Kennestone. Headed over in another hour or so. I'm frickin starving and sadly looking forward to the IV b/c I'm hoping I won't feel so hungry once they start pumping the fluids! Sudafed definitely helped my headcold (yay!)... although I'm hyper as hell now. DH is wishing he had worked half a day today b/c I'm all over the place.
