DD woke up 2 1/2 hours earlier than normal. :-/

Our dog got into cat food and now he has a hot spot. Poor guy is itchy

It is stormy and nasty outside today. I wanted to get some errands done today but now I think they might wait until tomorrow

I couldn't get to sleep last night b/c of a nasty headache. Then I woke up this morning very tired with a sore throat. I'm also starving and it's only 11:15.

It's cold as balls here too. I could have really used a 2hr delay today. Stupid DS1's school.

Trying to put DS in his crib for naps is impossible. He ALWAYS wakes up when I go to set him down and I don't know if I'm just a little too short to be able to put him in his crib effectively or I'm just doing it wrong.

I guess I'll just keep on trying. I'm trying to start with naps so I can move up to bedtime. Oy.

As if the norovirus shredding thru our entire household 2 weeks ago wasn't enough, I woke up with some nasty post nasal drip and a sore throat this morning. I feel like i have something coming on....wtf. DS is also dealing with a runny nose. Poor kid is leaking like a faucet.

My cat is acting like a pyscho, but refuses to step foot outside bc its cold and snowy. My dog's ass smells rotten bc he insisted on sneaking into the neighbor's yard and picking thru their compost.

DS could not sleep soundly at all last night. I brought him into bed with me at 2am and barely slept after that because he was so fidgety. Consequently, I am exhausted and have a very short fuse with him this morning, which makes me feel horribly guilty.

I couldn't get up our street today so DS1 couldn't go to school. He hasn't been in over a week between snow days and a cold.

We have an appointment with the neurosurgeon tomorrow. Unfortunately, our neurologist didn't send our records so I have to leave school early and make a two hour round trip to go get them....and they're calling for a possibility of ice tomorrow, which means we won't even go to the appointment.

Ugh my sister had to take DD into doctor because her fever went up and now she is acting lethargic. I am working in the city so I can't leave until the next train comes. So frustrating to not be there right now.

Oh and DS has a double EI.

Last night sucked.

DH is pissing me off. I hate when I ask a SIMPLE question and get the response "What do you mean?" He does this all the time when I text him. Today I sent him this text word for word, "We need to go to my moms on Wednesday, Do you want to spend the night there Tuesday night so we can get up, eat breakfast, and be on the road?" He responded by saying "What do you mean?" WTF DH, I can't dumb down that question any more. Another thing is the way he acts when I ask him to clean the kitchen while I'm at work, I get "Ok, I can do some of it but I don't know what you want me to do." Put on your big boy pants and figure it out. Ugh.

The sun has not made an appearance here in 4 days, and that is not helping to melt the ice in my driveway. Last night when I was going grocery shopping, i slid down the last 50 ft of my driveway. Good thing no one was coming because i slid out into the road, and across the road.

We have to get DD a passport, and to do so for a child you have to make an appointment at the passport office and bring both parents. They apparently refuse to answer the phone or return voicemails there, so you have to show up in person to make the appt. We had an appt. that was canceled due to the Atlanta snowpocalypse 2 weeks ago, so we returned in person last week and made another appt. for this Tuesday...when more snow is predicted.

I recognize that this probably belongs in a FWP thread.

DS2 woke up at 5:15 to nurse and when I reset my alarm, it didn't want to reset and kept going off every 7 minutes.

My new workout tank tips are a little too tight to wear yet.

We had "date night" on sunday. The restaurant we went to was awful (food AND service), the movie theater didn't have any good movies, we rented some action bs movie and then we went to bed. To sleep.

What kind of "Valentine's day" date is that?! No flowers, no card, no chocolate. Not necessary but it would have been nice you know. Now he's gone for two weeks.

Then today we spent the last day together as a family with... His mom! Urgh. I like for his last day home to be just the three of us. He wanted cable and canned soup. And he brought her flowers!!! What?!

Am I not worth flowers? None for Mothers day, none for my birthday and none for VDay. Wow. I don't EXPECT flowers, by any means. I just... Wish I was worth a shitty grocery store bouquet once in a while. I did tear from A to C for his son. A little recognition maybe?

FWP/Vent. Whatever. Boys suck.
