I am 37 weeks and my SPD is really acting up and driving has become a real challenge for my 4'11" frame. (Thank you deep clutch...

) I was hoping to work up until I went into labor but going to work has caused so much anxiety.(weather) I suspect she will be here soon. I was hoping to work from home but stupid HR policies is just ridiculous. I feel weak that I'm asking to be signed out of work this early but I just can't do it anymore. Pelvis is falling a part and I am surprised I was able to get this far with severe SPD with my son...
Anyone else off work already or considering asking to be signed out?
Re: I am done... asking to be signed out of work.
I'm done this week and can't wait. Not that I have any complications but working while pregnant is exhausting in general! And everything is super uncomfortable right now. If I didn't have vacation time I'd totally ask to start mat leave early or be signed out as things are starting to get painful.
I hope you and your couch get some quality time over the next little bit. :-)
I have a bunch of sick and vaca time that I wanted to use while being on maternity leave, but I've been dipping into it. I just can't keep up my regular schedule lately.
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
Don't feel gulity! You need this time for you! (and the health of LO )
Take it with pride
And I'll join you and FBW next week!

I have been off work since 30 weeks cos it was school holidays and then while I was on holidays I switched to maternity leave so didn't have to go back.
This is my third child, I'm 35 and I think it also have spd, but probably not as severe as you describe.
Look after yourself and rest up!
Only three weeks to go- I cannot imagine working up to 37 wks this time! Congrats it's actually an awesome achievement.
