Merry Christmas!

I am finally (it only took til Christmas Eve) In the holiday spirit. I cannot wait to see my parents see Ethan opening gift. I don't think Ethan will care all that much, but my parents are so excited!

Rarely do I regret that only one set of E's grandparents celebrate Christian holidays, but today it makes me sad. I know E gets the best of both worlds. but for just a minute, I would love for all my family (including my ILs) to celebrate at Mass tonight. There is such a feeling of warmth and community at Mass on Christmas, and I would like to share it.

Then I think of how some of you struggle to fit in both sets of parents, some step parents, aunts, cousins and siblings and remember it is not so bad to be interfaith!
