Empty belly day

No matter what I eat today, I still feel starving!! Maybe baby is going through a growth spurt... Any ideas for yummy, filling snacks that aren't cookies and ice cream? Because that's all I seem to want and I already had cinnamon rolls for breakfast haha.

    Apples cut up with peanut butter (I prefer the natural kind, just peanuts and salt, not Jiff) are a go to for me. Or celery and cream cheese with some grapes. Lots of protein should help.

    Omg this is me too today =P~ I am eating myself out of house and home. I have tried everything from cupcakes to eggs to fruit ect and am now currently eating frosting from the container.
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • OMG- I was like this yesterday. I ate so many random things all day and then when I went to bed I really felt like I was going to throw up.
    I didn't tho- lucky.
    Doesn't help that we are in the middle of another heat wave.
  • I need to go get apples tomorrow... Mmmmmmm. Today was a major fail in the nutrition dept... I am embarrassed by how many cookies I ate lol

    I recently experienced this. For about a week or two I felt like what people who've had gastric bypass describe. I could only eat tiny amounts and it was frustrating. Like, i couldnt even eat one small taco without feeling like i was going to throw up. Thankfully, that seems to have passed and I am back to eating like a regular person. I was thinking maybe baby dropped a bit, bit i think its still a little early for that. Anyway, I'm back to being ravenous, lol. I've been snacking on lots of fruit, and I like whole wheat English muffins with peanut butter and honey, string cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, stuff like that.

    Heat wave would feel good. I'm so sick of snow and ice.

    Me too. Since I've been on hospital bed rest, I've gone through not one, but two, batches of cookies that friends and family have brought.... DH has helped with a few, but I've definitely had the majority of them
  • bananas have been good to me so far. I agree with PP that oatmeal, especially with raisins or fruit in it, is very satisfying.
