Holy sh!t UPDATE

So a friend of mine made a "joke" today about me being pregnant today because I went off on a few people who were well deserving of it ( I delivered 12/2) I just laughed and said yea RIGHT?! So I came home and took a test and there is 1 faint line and 1 solid line. I'm not convienced yet I'll take another one in the morning. We were told we would never conceive naturally so It's a far fetch but there is clearly a solid line and a faint line. Effffff me!! LO is only 10 weeks old! I'll keep y'all posted tomorrow !

So I think there is a bit if confusion.... I wasn't the one saying we were using pullout method. We haven't been using protection at all because of the fact that LO was an infertility baby and we were told we would never conceive naturally. But I am aware that things happen!
So good news I just used my FMU and got a BFN yup NEGATIVE thank the lawddddd! It may only be 5:30am but I think I'm going to have a beer

On a side note we will be starting fertility treatments in June or July so hopefully I'll get a bfp then

Also yes, Irish twins! We have a friend whose sister is about a year younger and they were in the same grade.

Is it possible to still have faint traces of hCG in your system from being pregnant this time? I must admit that's what I'd (personally) be praying for!

Joking aside, good luck either way OP...congrats if you are,
and congrats if you're not! Keep us posted!

ETA: So I googled out of curiosity and most things I came across said you can have elevated hCG in your system for up to a month after giving birth, maaaaybe as long as 6 weeks, but that seems to be pretty rare. Let us know what happens!

I realize you can get pregnant that way--- (pull out method) it's just that we tried for over a year to get pregnant this time so it seems near impossible that we would get pregnant that way. That might push me over the edge. Seriously.

It took us more than a year to get preg with DS2, but I'm still not letting DH anywhere near me until I get the IUD in. I figure, if I let myself think we're safe, we'll end up with Irish twins. OP, good luck to you. And if you are, congrats, and I hope it goes well.

Glad it was BFN this morning, but just a bit of forewarning ...My first DS was an infertility baby, my next 2 happened without any help, and FAST ... we barely had to try. Be careful with the mindset that you can't get pregnant on your own!!

This. It took my parents 2.5 years to get me. My mom got pregnant six months later.
I conceived DD first month, DS took over two years. Time to first is no guarantee of the next one.

Im staying off bc it makes me NUTS! I have to be off of it for 3 months before my REI will start fertility treatments so it would be pointless to get on it at this point anyways

Birth control does not only mean hormonal methods. While we wouldn't be upset about getting pregnant right now, we have decided to use condoms for now.

No I was not the one who thought she was KU. My husband and I have both been classified "infertile" and it took 2 years to get pregnant with LO and was told it'll take longer the next time and that's with help from REI so wanting to be pregnant in 90 isn't what I was saying. We will be starting treatments again in June. Totally joking about the condoms. We've just never used then because we've never had to. To each it's own. We want our kids close in age some of you may not want that. DH and I were both only children and hated it. So having them close will be easier on us.

She was talking to SSS not you.
