New dad gift ideas?

I was thinking about getting my SO something baby-related since he is so excited. I found a few very cute daddy-and-me books on Amazon for him to read with the baby, but does anyone else have any great ideas for gifts for the new dads? I looked on Pinterest, but mostly saw "daddy survival kit" kind of things or t-shirts. I'm looking for something else, maybe a little nicer....thoughts?

I saw dad or daddy scrubs for when you are in labor online...although when I asked my SO what he thought he laughed and said no way but he also doesn't understand my love for sweat pants (he's just as happy in khakis and a button down as I am in old sweats and a t shirt...I know it makes no sense)

DH gets himself a nice bottle of scotch or whiskey. He also may get a bottle from the year each LO is born (not worth buying until LO is in the early teens) to break into with that child when they turn 21.

I think I'm getting SO an ergo carrier for a new dad/birthday gift since he seems pretty excited to wear baby.

I think a daddy and me book is totally the best idea. From personal experience, there's nothing sweeter than seeing your DH and LO snuggled up, reading a book together! And I know my DH really loves reading books about daddies with our daughter.

I got my husband the diaper bag he wanted and filled it with both things for him and baby. Among the things for him were a nice bottle of scotch, cigars, and a few snack items he likes. Then I added so standard baby items too bibs, binkys, blankets, baby lotion, and wash etc.

I'm getting dh a watch he has admired for years. I like the idea that he can pass that on to our son one day.
