I am trying my best to eliminate dairy for my kid, but oh my god it is hard. This girl had 2+ glasses of milk a day while pregnant, and cutting it all out is tough!
When the pedi first suggested going dairy free, I got myself some Lactaid milk thinking that was an acceptable substitute...until the pedi told me at the next appt that it still has milk proteins. Oops.
So what ARE some dairy-like things that I can have? She said no soy milk. Is there any milk substitute that would be ok? Any good non-dairy cream that can go in my coffee?

How is it that goat cheese would be ok? Is goat milk easier to digest than cow milk?

So we're gluten free, dairy free and as spy free as can be -I don't actively eat it but don't omit completely. Our pediatrician keeps saying that her issues have nothing to do with my diet. With celiac, I'm living proof that food influences everything in your body. (I need to find one more in line with my ideas.)
Not to thread jack but maybe we can do a check in? I think it's could be helpful for us to find replacements for these allergies/intolerances... Any takers?
Some readings suggest that it's a tree fruit. Does LO have an issue?
