I keep seeing tons of posts about packing hospital bags and I am not planning on pre-packing. I did not buy a ton of maternity clothes so all the clothes I have that still fit including pj's I need to wear now. Same thing with toiletries, I use them everyday not to mention my hospital provides all the basics (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.) And really I don't think I will need a ton of stuff while I'm there so I'm hoping when I start labor I'll be able to have DH throw some PJs in a bag with some clothes for me to go home in, deodorant, hair brush, hair dryer, my iPad, and phone/iPad chargers. Since we are team green we have picked out a boy outfit and a girl outfit both with tags still on. They are already with my mom so after baby is born she will wash the appropriate outfit and bring that to the hospital. If for some reason I have a super fast labor and don't have time to grab anything on my way, my hospital is 15 mins from my house so DH or my mom can always run home to grab stuff for me after the baby arrives. I figure by the time I'm done delivering the baby I'm really not gonna care about much except bonding with my baby and trying to
get some rest. I'm just wondering if there are any other ladies out there who aren't pre packing either or am I just the oddball? Lol

I have never packed nowhere near what the girls on the Bump or the checklists say I should.
I'm big on feeling like me in the hospital so it was a change of clothes (and a clean set for H) and my own soap/makeup items. Throw in my own underwear and some pads and I was good.
Other than that, kindle, blanket for baby and outfit.
So nothing more than a standard night away sort of stuff.
I packed it already because I'm big on organization, but I was honestly done in like 4 minutes. The hospital is also on the same block as Target and H usually needs some air after awhile, so I can easily send him out for stuff no problem if needed.

I packed everything (including the kitchen sink) when I had DS. I think I used my hairbrush, toothbrush, our camera, the Depends I brought with me, and my change of clothes to wear home for DS and myself.
This time around, I'm already packed, but it's basically just clothes for the two of us and Depends. I'll throw in toiletries the day of (I have a list so I won't forget anything). But I'm not particularly into looking glamourous PP, so I'm not taking hair stuff, blow dryer, make up etc.

This time around I will probably do the same thing since I will be having NSTs again and you just never know.
I did order a few new nursing tanks for the hospital because my old ones are shredded, and a hoodie. I know what PJ pants and yoga pants fit well and are comfy. It won't take but about 5 min to pack.
Worse case scenario my water breaks at work and I don't have time to go home, I can send my H for specific things.
I do understand people wanting to be totally packed and ready though. It's part of the nesting instinct!
