Forecast for today: less than 1" of snow. So far? 2" of snow and it's still dumping it down. I'm over it. If we get another 8" I will scream loud enough that all of you will hear me.
Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!
I think we're finally getting a break. We still have so many branches down from the ice storm here that it's a welcome week to not have anything in the forecast.
You must live in Ohio, too! Ugh. Our forecast for today said 1-2 inches possible throughout the day. We woke up at 8:30 to at least 3 more already on the ground. I can't take much more.

Yup!! Southeastern part, you?

I'm up here in Detroit Metro and woke up to more snow. I cried. I'm so tired of snow and negative degree weather. I just want some sun, some green, some warmth!!! I'm trapped in a perpetual winter-wonderland and I want OUT!!! I nearly tried to jump through the big screen when an ad for Jamaica came on.

I'm in Columbus - same story here! Forecast still says less than an inch, but now we're under a level one snow emergency and there are at least 3 inches out there - on top of the 6-8 inches they haven't bothered plowing from Wednesday.
I really need it to stop snowing because I can't hardly wear my boots anymore ...
I had a baby due 2/18 and had a miscarriage - I would have been so nervous the whole pregnancy about going into labor in a snow or ice storm. I'm happy that May is a relatively calm month, weather-wise.
Is it Friday yet?? I'm headed to Florida for the weekend. No joke.
Seriously! I'm in Columbus and we were at a level 1 this morning. We had to miss soccer practice and I had to get my butt up and shovel the driveway. We leave for Florida to visit my parents a week from today and I can't wait!
Well we've had more cold here than anything and it's awful. It's been between 0 and -20 for most of the last 2 months ... Average is around 20-25 above so I'm over it too. Sick of weather and can't afford to go to Florida this year of all years. So depressed
Ugh, I'm supposed to get 1-3...but I wouldn't be surprised if we get more. We have so much on the ground already. If we get much more, I'm not sure where they're going to plow it to on my cul-de-sac.
We are about an hour north of Columbus too! The weather called for a light dusting of around 1", & we have gotten 4" since waking up this morning. We have a mountain of snow in our yard from all the plowing. I'm so ready for spring!
@Kaylee524 and @sammy.kmwe were under a level 2 last I heard. It finally stopped, probably a decent 3.5" on top of the 4 we still had left from last week. It's flurry-ing now but I think the accumulation is done. ODOT has where you can check your county's reported snowfall for the day along with total accumulation and how many crews are on the roads. Though I have found our county can't measure, but they're usually close enough to give you an idea.

Lots of Ohio mamas! We're in Akron, but moving to the east side later this year. We drove up to Bainbridge this morning to meet our builder and walk the lot we're buying and it was snowing like crazy. Can't believe the guy didn't want to cancel!! The roads didn't better until this afternoon.

I love Bainbridge!!! A good friend from high schools parents have a beautiful farm there. She had her wedding in the small church downtown that her grandfather built. Beautiful little town.
There are lots of Ohio moms.....I heard on the news there's a possibility of more tonight (but less than an inch). I know I keep hearing welcome to Ohio winter but I seriously don't remember it being like this for a long, long time.
I feel for you guys. I don't know how you do it winter after winter. It's been the coldest winter in Alabama this year, and we're supposed to get 2-4 inches of ice and snow tomorrow night. I'll be glad when it's over however for us when it does start warming up that means tornados are usually on the horizon

It hasn't been like this (snow-wise) for a long time. I remember winters like this when I was a kid because we had the big hill everyone came to ride down. And if DS was a bit older I wouldn't mind it but right now it's just a pain dealing with him and the snow and he can't even really go play in it yet.

Send it Northeast (or rather, downeast, which is all the way Northeast) please! many of the storms that hit MA and south went out to sea and missed us. Except for not this Friday ... airplanes must go on schedule that day. Thursday would be OK and the last week of Feb. would be awesome. Please.
We've had way too little snow since the stupid messy Jan. thaw and the playground is a sad icy mess with just a thin coating - no good for the kiddos on the few days that are warm enough for outdoor recess - and snowmobilers (big, big thing around here) are doing even stupider stuff than usual with too little base and lots of ice out there and more and more people are getting hurt. Plus the tourism-dependent economy needs more snow on the slopes and trails. Also the "brown and ugly" (good description, @cnbean !) is even more depressing in February than endless snow is. Especially when it's also crazy-cold which it keeps being.
Pretty weird winter when the Tahoe area, Alaska, and Maine are all short on snow and the deep south gets 2 real winter storms within a month!
