NT scan and testing

I have my 10 week apt on Tuesday, in which I will have to schedule an apt for the NT scan if we decide to do it.  My dr, did go over it a little bit at my 1st apt. I originally thought it was just a u/s, but she said that doesnt tell you much and that they do b/w testing with it.  I tried to do a little research but I am just confused.  I know there is the Maternit21, Panorama, and the harmony test.  To me, they look all the same. Is there a difference? Does one give more information than the others?  Anyone with any info, or willing to share their experience, is greatly appreciated! thank you ladies!

The NT with corresponding blood work is more standard and offered to everyone of all ages. The NIPTs (non invasive prenatal tests) such as MartiniT21, Harmony, Verify etc are usually offered in addition to the NT/blood work in patients over the age of 35 or who have elevated risk. The NIPTs are not meant to replace the NT/blood work (at this time at least) and are usually not covered by insurance unless you meet the above criteria. I'm under 35 but had the Harmony test done bc my NT/blood work came back elevated risk for Trisomy 21. The NT/blood detects about 70% of patients with either trisomy 18 or 21. Of that 70% detected to have elevated risk 5% will have been falsely categorized as elevated risk (ie sort of like a false positive --- I was one of those 5% false elevated risk patients). The NIPTs detect 99% of trisomy 13, 18 and 21 plus sex trait issues (ie, XXY, XYY instead of just XX or XY) with a false elevated risk detection of <0.5%. So they have a lower false positive occurs cd. Those tests are blood work only (no u/s) that isolate fetal DNA from your blood. So they are more accurate.
Is there a name for the standard blood test that goes with the NT scan, that is not considered NIPT? I though the standard blood test was one of those.  (sorry for my confusion! lol)

They use the ultrasound and bloodwork together to determine your odds.
