  It's more likely for a baby to come at 41+ weeks than to come before 40 weeks - so relax  Baby will come.  And your progress at this moment means nothing.  You can walk around dilated several cm for weeks or go from zero to baby in hours.  Baby will come - and will come more easily if you let your body be ready vs. going the induction route (which often leads to other interventions including c-section).

  Just an FYI I went to my 37w appointment and DS was high and 0cm. DS was born at exactly 38w. So you never know. My doctor said I had weeks ago and I never made it to my 38w appointment.

  I'm four days past my due date, just waiting for her to come. I definitely don't want to get so far induction has to be brought up. I won't be checked for any progress until my next appt so I don't even know if I'm dilated or effaced at all and I have a NST on Wednesday. I'm just trying to be patient, I know she will come soon. I'm just ready to not be pregnant anymore! Ha.

  I wouldn't worry about not being dilated or effaced. I wasn't dilated or effaced at all when labor started with DS. It's just not a great indicator.
  Just remember, no one in history has ever been pregnant forever!
