I literally LOLed at some of these so I thought I'd share. Also, I had no idea Dominick the Donkey was a NJ song?!?

    omg, I f'ing HATE dominick the donkey and want to punch people when they play it.  I was so happy this year when we made it through the Xmas season without hearing it even once.

    Also - Central Jersey exists.. it's that area between New Brunswick and Trenton where there isn't a Jersey Devil or "poofs".  ;)

    NOTHING is better than Dominic the Donkey on Christmas Eve drinking homemade wine in an Italian family's basement. NOTHING. It's my favorite Christmas song, and it's in my itunes! LOL I paid $1.49 for that sucker.

    omg, I love you, BL (@ghostof5letters), but no.  It gets stuck in your head and rots away at your brain for weeks.  Even just having read it, I have the "hee haw hee haw" stuck in my head now and feel myself getting dumber by the second.

    I'm with @ghostof5letters. I LOVE that song, I don't even mind that it's stuck in my head right now. Also, you have to really commit to the "hee-haw, hee-haw" part :-)

    Chris Christie telling people to get the hell off the beach because it's 4:30 and they've maximized their tans makes me crack up every time.

    Hahaha.  I moved (back to) NJ at 18, and apparently being the only translucent girl in the state is horrible so the hair salon one of my friends went to had tanning beds in it, and the owner gave me a free month of tanning so he would feel better about there being "one less pale girl" in his state.  Love NJ - beauty before health.

    Very true, I'm really pale and everyone always told me I need to buy bronzer lol. I am however an extremely aggressive driver, sorry I'm that asshole.

    Now I have that horrible donkey song stuck in my head too. I live in PA and they play it plenty here at Christmas time. Now I know who to blame. Thanks a lot, New Jersey.

    @AutumnBonfire - it's because all the NJ people migrate to the Poconos in the winter, I had never heard of it until DH picked it up at work (near Tobyhanna).  :(:(

    That's very true. I think most of the people I work with (in the Poconos) are originally from New Jersey.

    Hahaha.  I would have prob been a little more accepting and like, "meh, *maybe* I deserve that" if it had been the abuse one vs. spam.  :)
