SuzyQq02: Baby J is here!

After a whirlwind of a day yesterday, I'm happy to report our little girl made her debut yesterday at 11:57am! She apparently didn't want to wait for her prescheduled Tuesday engagement. ;-)

Briefly, I was in bed just waking up around 730 when I felt a couple gushes of fluid. We called the on call doc, who said call back in an hour and if you're still leaking, well bring you in. I started contracting within about 30 min of my water breaking. About every 12 min, and continued to have little gushes of fluid. Called the doc back. She said shower and come in.

Arrived at l&d around 945, got checked in and checked out... water definitely broke and I was already at 5cm (after being more or less 1cm on Thursday at my last appt). Little lady was still frank breech, doc could feel it without even needing an u/s. So c section prep started, and we were in the or by 1130, she officially arrived just before noon.

I'm feeling really good so far, and baby is doing great. She's bfing like a champ and a good sleeper so far. She's super snuggly and looks just like her daddy. We're so happy she's here!
