Home made teething biscuits

I know there was a post about them weeks ago, but LO was no where near ready then. I was looking at the ones in wholesomebabyfood.com and wondering if anyone has made them and how the texture comes out. Were they a choking hazard at all? LO has done well with the one package of mum mums we got in a gift, but I'd rather not spend money on more if I can avoid it.

    No help here because we use the mum mums but I think it was @blt20051 who has made some using that website!

    I've made those several times. It's kind of like making biscuits. You have to find that balance of water and flour and the baking time. I don't bake but I got the hang of it after two or three batches. I make them in long strips like mum mums so he can hold them. He gagged the first time or two but then he got the hang of them.

    I made them, and they sucked. I did the one with rice cereal.

    There was no way he could eat them, without choking! It was tough even for me to chew! I followed the recipe to a T.

    O really loves mum mums, so I still buy those. I also bought some biscuits by PLUM ORGANICS that he likes.

    Following. I'd love to make J some that I can eat as well (I have celiac) plus we haven't tried any eggs or oil here yet...

    Oh I should add I didn't use rice cereal.  I used oatmeal.
