I went on pottery barn baby's website. I know this isn't a huge deal but sweet mother of God their shit is expensive and now I want more. MOAR elephants. MOAR alphabet bedding. MOAR bumpers I won't use.

DH pretty much never cares what I buy. I mean, he doesn't even care about my once a year Louis Vuitton purchases. But he may kill me if I spend $49 (plus $7 because duh, I want everything personalized even though we don't have a singled named picked out) for a stuffed elephant with a fuzzy tail. Or $39 for a towel because honestly, they're so cute I want to dry off with it. I wonder if it comes in size humongous.

I started a registry. Oh Lord I can't stop wanting everything, including the kid on the home page with the diaper bags.

That's done. Carry on. Just so you all are aware your friend Cake has her first craving and surprisingly it isn't iced chocolate donuts with heart sprinkles.

DH freaked when I showed him a $65 curtain from PBK. Luckily, I found an identical one at jcpenney for $35, even the reviews compared it to PBK. I want to just buy everything since finding out the sex! Haha.

We got DD's bedding from PBK. Honesty I didn't think it was much more (if at all) than BRU for great quality stuff. I was just thinking today when I was changing her sheet how well it's held up in over 2 years of very heavy use. I think we'll be going with PBK or Land of Nod for bedding again this time. DD also has a bird shaped piggy bank from PBK that she adores

I might be the only one to say this but DH and I went into PBK for the very first time today and I hated everything in there. Not because of the prices but because everything looked so....old. For lack of a better word. The patterns reminded me of quilts my grandmother used to have. Also, I'm team green and I couldnt find very many items that were yellow or green. So disappointing. And what's up with all the bumpers?? They were everywhere!! Anyways, we received a $50 gift card as a wedding present so we had to buy something. I settled on a rather expensive diaper bag online.

This post cracked me up. I like a lot of PBK stuff. All of DD crib sheets are from there and they have held up really well so far. Plus they are only $19 for a fitted crib sheet so not too bad at all. That's the only bedding we've purchased so I've kept my PBK love in check.
