Hey ladies,
Just checking to see if I'm the only one experiencing these! I feel like I belong in an institution when it happens. Some nights I wake up from a deep sleep and swear that I hear or see things that aren't really there. It takes me 5-10 minutes to decide if its real life or if I'm sleep walking. The worst yet was the other night my husband was out of town and I swore I heard someone breaking in! I jumped up and locked my bedroom door and my heart was pounding. I started looking out my windows like a freak. I turned around to look at my dogs, one is a 220 pound English mastiff so I know he would alert me to trouble and he was passed out snoring. My shih tzu just looked at me like I was bat shit crazy. I then got back in bed and turned on all of the lights and finally fell back asleep. It was a horrible feeling! Could this be hormones? Why would they make you do this!?
Re: Night terrors/hallucinations?
I would be on the edge of sleep and I would literally bolt awake. Like jump up. It was strange.
trust your gut and if you think there is something up, call the doc.

Oh and I'm 25 and will not spend the night by myself and if hubby is on the other side of the house most nights I can't fall asleep unless I leave the light on. I've always been scared of the dark though.
