What is your kid's favourite toy?

I've given A just about everything that squeaks and rattles and flashes. What keeps her entertained the longest? An orange plastic crab mold that you take to the beach to put sand inside and make sand shapes. I gave it to her because it's the first thing I grabbed out of the box... And she licked it and looked at it and waved it around for probably 20 minutes.

Any other improbable favourite toys? What keeps your baby entertained?

We bought P a set of squishy blocks (I think they're Infantino brand) when he was like 4 months and he still loves them. He also loves Scout the LeapFrog dog and the FP puppy piano.

Ds absolutely loves slippers. He will spot them across the room and scoot so quickly toward them. He will also play with them when they are on our feet, but the joy he gets out of spotting them, getting to them, and playing with them is great.

They are the perfect size for her to grab, nom on, bang together, etc. and the box makes a good drum. I enjoy building things and watching her knock them down like Godzilla.

DD's favorite is the Oball with the rattles in it. She bashes her face with all the time. Also she loves her monkey and yoda.

My hair is definitely #1. I got her a remote to get her to maybe trying to eat ours, she seems to like it actually. And then anything that crumples (wrappers, bags, etc.)

Improbable toys: DD loves the dog, the TV remote, my phone, any sort of paper or books, and packages of wipes (crinkle, bite, toss).

Commercial toys: she loves the plastic food from her picnic basket (either FP or LeapFrog).

An empty wipes package. He likes the crinkle noise.

We also have the v-tech sit to stand learning Walker and he loves the little part that comes out and has the phone.

The phone, the remotes, my iPad, my slippers, my coffee cup...and then for her actual toys she likes these squirting turtles that came with all sorts of other squirting sea creatures, a radish rattle, Sophie, and this box with the holes with shape blocks and you when you shove the blocks in the holes it makes a noise.

An empty pampers box has been a favorite for a couple of weeks now. He plays with it on the floor, and when he's in the walker he drags it around the house.

Grandma just brought over a walker on Friday and ds2 is obsessed. He also likes his jumparoo and sit to stand toy.

ds1 is obsessed with a pair of binoculars and a transformer who he calls superman.

the glow worm in my siggy pic. It keeps him quiet in the car also. It is a life saver. Besides that he likes people's faces and his play gym.

A loves the dog. When she gets tired of being drooled on and petted he moves on to whatever is new around him (this morning it was Daddy's badge on his uniform).
He loves his stacking cups....but he thinks they are drinking cups. He also loves my tea mug.

As for actual toys he loves Sophie and teething Sophie.

Siblings, these blocks with a ball in them she got for Christmas, stacking cups, singing dog/storybook dog, and tags. Like the actual fabric washing instructions on them tags. And our Pets. Little people. Books.
