I had a couple of questions about my pictures yesterday in my nursery aw thread. I told you guys I'd share how I taught myself, and shocker, I remembered!
I was a graphic designer, so while I do know how to touch up in photoshop, 99% of a good picture is in the camera settings, and the lighting. It also helps to remember things like keeping the horizon level (think door frames straight, etc, in a home setting).
I learned everything I know from this set of tutorials. It's called "12 Weeks to Better Photography". It's basically 12 little lessons on how to properly use your camera, to how to set up the perfect shots.
