AWKWARD

DH and I are TTC baby3 and I am charting. We are at the beginning of my fertile cycle now. Well we had an ice storm here yesterday and there are widespread power outages. We got our power back yesterday luckily but my family is still without power so as of this morning they are staying with us. I am hoping they are only here one night, but things are pretty bad and it could still be a few days til the power is back. So now DH and I have to TTC with my parents and brother in the house. Awkward... Any ladies here want to share your embarrassing stories?

    Back when DH and I were dating, we once did it in my moms car in the driveway.  So, you always have that option.  :D

    Well we live in a townhouse with a busy parking lot so that would probably be much worse... "Oh hello there neighbors walking your dogs again, don't mind us here..."

    When DH and I were TTC DD my then 16-yr-old brother was staying with us.  He luckily never mentioned (and hopefully never realized) why DH went to bed so early that week.
    ;)

    Okay, here's my embarassing TTC story: My fertile window was right when we were in the process of moving. Our moving process was super-complicated due to some delays in building, so there was a week where we were still living in our old house, but we had moved almost all of our furniture out into a storage unit and our renter (a friend) had moved her stuff in. So we were sleeping on her bed, using her dining room table, etc. So since we felt weird having sex in her bed, we used the one piece of our furniture that was still there - a loveseat (it wouldn't fit in the storage unit). I'm sure she's never tried to do the math on when this baby was conceived but I hope that if she does, she doesn't think we conceived in her bed!!

    My story isn't as embarrassing.   My fertile window was during a weekend trip that my H and I took to visit some family friends.  They were on vacation in the UK, so we drove down to stay in the same hotel as them for a night.  It was an INSANELY nice hotel, we got a great room, and it was a perfect weekend. The friends we were visiting?  A retired OB and his wife.    Needless to say when we announced that we were having a baby, they IMMEDIATELY figured out that the baby was conceived that weekend in the hotel, and even joked about using the name of the hotel as the baby's middle name :-)

    Not TTC but DH and I are high school sweethearts. We used to have sex all the time in his bedroom that was directly above the living room his parents were sitting in. Also, my mom walked in in me going down on him. Come to think of it, I'm surprised family get togethers aren't more awkward... ;)

    DD#1 was conceived on a vacation in Spain....with my ILs......and a lot of wine/ aka liquid courage. It was a cycling trip. Several of H's parents' friends were there too. A year or so later most of the friends had done the math and seemed excited that DD was conceived on our trip. This made for a few awkward moments. However It was a great trip and we have an adorable -albeit loud and strong - souvenir!

    DH and I had sex at my parents house a couple times when I was 8 months pregnant with my twins. We were living there until our new house was finished and we were right across the hall. It was nbd to me.
