A bit of a scare

Spent the afternoon/evening in the ER. I was cramping a bit more than normal "round ligament pain." No bleeding, just discomfort coming in waves. Dr decided to be cautious. Sent me to ER since he was at the hospital for a delivery.

After a few hours, blood work, sonogram and a lot of nerves my little one is just fine! Measuring 9 weeks 4 days...right on schedule. Strong HB of 170. There is a small sub chorionic hemorrhage. So pelvic rest for me and need to avoid lifting when possible (yeah... With a 15 month old that should be interesting!). Dr seems to think this will be absorbed, just have to watch it carefully.

My DH and I are relieved. Between the nausea and vomiting and this, this LO is giving me a run for my money. My pregnancy with V was so easy at this point!

Please send some good vibes my way that we keep heading in the right direction.

PHEW glad its not more serious but I cannot imagine bed rest with V, teaching duties, snow days and all the regular life things... sending you good thoughts for a swift and complete recovery for you and all your house lady!
