Wilbraham? Longmeadow?

Hi All!
Wondering if anyone here is living in the Springfield area? My husband got a job in Springfield and we are currently house hunting. We like homes in Wilbraham, Longmeadow and East Longmeadow and would love to hear other Mom's thoughts who live in these places. How are they for kids? We have a 22 m/o DD. Thanks so much!

    I grew up in Longmeadow, I haven't lived there in 10+ years but it has an amazing school system. It made parent magazines top 10 town to live in last year I think. I can't speak for younger kids, but the high school is very competitive and there's a lot of money. It's very elitist, kids had designer bags and clothes (Lilly Pulitzer, Louis Vuitton) a lot of my friends went to Ivy or sub ivy. Parents are all professionals. I loved growing up there but it's very upper white middle class.

    I live/teach in Springfield currently. I would favor Longmeadow because i like their school system the best. If you want to know anything specifically you can pm me!
