Breastfeeding woes

So I feel like I can call myself a nursing vet. I BF DS1 till he was 18m and my pregnant self just couldn't take the strain anymore and now I am BF'ing DS2 with no problems. In this whole time I have never embarrassed myself nursing my child or been embarrassed by being a BF'ing mom till today.

So my story starts out with me getting the boys ready to leave the house to visit my grandma who is only 45 mins ride from my home. I feed DS2 and get him in the van get going down the road about 15 mins and I hear him spit up.

I pull over and he has spit up everywhere so much that I know he now has an empty stomach. So he is screaming hungry and apparently not capable of waiting till we get to my grandma's so I get him out crawl to the very back of my van and nurse him.

After this I stop at a consignment shop on the way, then by the gas station and then run into the bank all before going to my grandma's house.
Get to my grandma's and my Aunt bust out laughing `I have been all these places with my shirt pulled up over my boob my undershirt thankfully covering my belly and no one let me know.

So anyone have a BFing story to share?

Lol, so was your boob exposed the whole time?!?! Hilarious!

Last night DS2 started wiggling/fussing because he was hungry. DS1, looked at my nursing tank and just pulled it down, exposing my left breast and said "well, he wants milk momma. Feed him!"

MH and I couldn't stop laughing. I just hope he doesn't do this in public!

oh, I have another one from DS1. When he was about 3 months old, I made a trip to Target without him. A baby started crying in line in front of my and my boobs started leaking immediately. I didn't have any breast pads with me and the front of my shirt had two distinct wet spots around my nipples... oh the joys!

We were in bumper to bumper traffic once, and could not get to either side of highway to either pull over, or pull off of highway.
Baby was NOT happy and hungry.
I climbed into back seat and literally hung my boob over her face and she nursed. I tried to jimmy rig a nursing cover over the window, but I'm sure ppl saw me.

I did this so much with DS1. I consider myself a pro. Now that we have a minivan and not a tiny Ford Escort, I figured it would get easier, but it did not since the middle seats are captain's chairs.

When DS was about six months old we went to the DC cherry blossom fest. I was wearing him in the mei tai and I planned to find a bench to sit to nurse... There were no benches. Or ledges or anything. And we were in this steady line of people walking around the basin.

I'd never nursed in the mei tai and couldn't stop walking due to the steady stream of people, so I just kind of jiggled a boob out and jiggled DS around in the carrier to latch. I have no idea how many tourists have cherry blossom festival pics with me nursing (likely not discreetly) in the background.
